Have logs to mill? We can bring the sawmill to you!
Costs for portable milling:
Travel Fee - $3.50/mi one way
Set-up/tear down fee - $75
Milling Costs - for small logs (under 8’ and less than 16” diameter) $130/hour. For most jobs we charge $.50/board foot (+$.05/bdf for quarter sawing).
Minimum charge of $250 (not including the travel and set-up fee or metal instances).
$36 blade fee/metal instance (if we hit metal in the logs)
Custom Milling
If you have logs and don’t want to pay travel and set-up fees, or you have really big logs that are going to be hard to mill without a skid steer or heavy equipment, we also do custom milling at our shop. Minimum charge of $125 or $.50/bdf ($125/hour for small logs, less than 8’ long and less than 16” diamter).
